Equinix Reports Availability Of AWS Direct Connect In Osaka IBX Data Center:

An interconnect company and data centers, announced Monday the immediate availability of Amazon Web Services or AWS Direct Connect on your data center Osaka International Business Exchange or IBX OS1.

With AWS Direct Connect, companies across Asia can be connected directly managed private infrastructure and AWS. This will establish a private connection with AWS Cloud to reduce costs, increase performance and provide a more consistent performance application.

The Osaka offer is the second in Japan, with AWS Direct Connect also available in the EquinixTokyo data center. It brings the total number of Equinix metros offering service to nine, worldwide, with four in Asia-Pacific.

According to forecasts 2014-2018 cloud computing utilities from IDC, it is estimated that the cloud sector in the Asia-Pacific region will experience annual growth of 26.5%. Many companies are looking to deploy hybrid clouds, to receive the benefits of usability and the cost of the cloud while maintaining control of security and infrastructure in place.
